CAN YOU COME TO MY HOME, HOTEL OR VENUE?

Absolutely!! It’s much much easier for you and your party to be where you already need to be. As long as there is adequate space for everyone involved in the getting ready process.

I DON'T LIVE IN YOUR AREA, DO YOU TRAVEL?

Heck yes I do! Travel is included in pricing up to 30 miles from Grand Rapids, MI, Palm Springs or Santa Ana, CA. Depending on the time of year.

Beyond 30 miles: .50/mile is added to your final bill.

Beyond 120 miles, hotel accommodations are required for the night before your wedding date.

Beyond 300 miles, airfare, rental car + fuel, and lodging is required with initial booking contract and booking retainer. Travel will be bundled together at a discount. Please inquire! I LOVE traveling and would love to come to you wherever you are in the world!

DO I NEED A TRIAL? 

No, but I do recommend one in most cases, if available. Besides the obvious, the appointment allows us to meet in person, talk about the big day and I get to learn about you and your love story! If you or I are from out of town and our schedules don't meet up in the months leading up to your wedding date, a trial can be done the week of the wedding in most cases. I also do FaceTime/Skype consultations to ease any anxieties if a trial doesn’t look possible. Have no fear or worries! This is quite common for out of town weddings or brides. Trials the week of are done about 25% of the time and I have never had an issue.

DO YOU DO GROUP DISCOUNTS OR DISCOUNTS FOR SUNDAYS, WEEKDAY OR OFF SEASON WEDDINGS?

Because hairstyling is my career and livelihood, I do not discount or barter my services. Thank you for your understanding.

DO YOU HAVE DIFFERENT PRICING FOR HOLIDAYS?

Certain holidays and holiday weekends, if I’m accepting bookings, do require a holiday fee and/or higher minimum.  Please inquire.

WHAT IF SOME OF MY BRIDESMAIDS WANT TO DO THEIR OWN HAIR OR USE A DIFFERENT STYLIST? CAN YOU JUST DO MINE?

I require a minimum headcount of 5 for Friday + Saturday weddings, and 3 head minimum for Sundays. No minimum for Mon-Thurs.  Although I think it’s important for everyone’s hair and makeup to be professionally done, I totally understand there is a budget! Please discuss my pricing with your girls. Sometimes, to make it easier for your girls’ budget if they are paying for their own beauty services, brides will ‘gift’ all or some of the cost for such services.

PLEASE NOTE- There is now a non-compete clause within the booking contract. Additional stylists providing services for any bridal attendant (bridesmaids, maid of honor) must be approved and contracted through Krystle Waivio Hair + Beauty. Questions? Please inquire!

IS THERE DIFFERENT PRICING FOR CERTAIN STYLES OR HAIR LENGTHS?

No matter the style, up or down, pricing is the same. The only difference is when the hair length is above the shoulders that only requires a blow out and/or light hot tool styling with no pinning. As well as girls under the age of 10 years old.   

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA TO PUT IN MY CLIP-IN EXTENSIONS OR PLACE MY VEIL/HAIRPIECE? 

Nope!

WHEN DO I PAY YOU AND HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

Cash, check, credit or debit. Your booking retainer is due when you book to secure your date. Your trial is due on or before your trial appointment. The remainder is due before the wedding date. You will receive a final invoice about a month before your wedding date, to be paid in one lump sum. If your girls are paying for their own hair services, please collect money from them and pay me in full. Final payment is due no later than 2 weeks before your wedding date.
