One of the best things about my job is meeting all my brides, hearing their love stories, and getting a glimpse into their future lives together. Often times we find out we have similarities, or have friends in common. It’s such a small world! With Amanda, turns out…we live only a block from each other! And we have a strong love for Australian Shepherds. When you scroll through the photos, you’ll get to see Amanda + Joe’s fur baby, Gordie <3.
As hairstylist, we are one of the vendors who do their job bright and early in the morning, then head out the door, and often miss seeing all the details of the day come together. Until we get happy little email with all the photos in our inbox! Hooray! When I saw Amanda + Joe's wedding photos by the talented Mae Stier, I immediately got a smile on my face. Amanda and her maids were such a joy to work with. I was so happy to see the day progress through the photos. From getting ready, to the ceremony and finally the fun filled reception. You can just see the shear joy radiate from Amanda's smile, so happy to be married to her love. The day looked like it turned out perfectly. You’d never know it was one of the hottest days of the year. Below are some photos, but before you get that far...let me just talk about the hair. Would that be okay?
Amanda's personal style is simple and classic. We decided on this chic low roll, with the sides twisted back. And the other girls styles, fit their personality. Some braided hairstyles and some just simply curled and slightly pulled back.
Okay...go ahead and scroll through...try not to drool too much.
Did you make it to the end? No? Keep going. Did you see how perfectly undone Amanda's hair looks towards the end of the day? UM…YEAH. Now normally, out of place hair really bugs me, I'll admit. You can tell something must have gotten stuck in her hair to do that damage...But the way her hair fell, the love in the air and how Mae Stier captured the moments...it was seriously beautiful, right?! Speaking of beautiful..those bouquets from Linnaea Floral. SO PRETTY. I love the shots of the girls pinning in that gorgeous floral hairpiece. Lisa (from Linnaea Floral ), Amanda and I connected with each other on the hairstyle we chose, in order to make the hairpiece fit perfectly with the style. And perfect it was! *heart eyes*
I'll stop rambling on how beautiful everything was now. I'll be sharing a few more blogs like this from 2016's wedding season, showcasing my beautiful brides. Keep an eye out! Byyyeeeeee!
