Aubrey was a referral from local makeup artist, Alexandra Nicole, who she quickly became friends with after their makeup trial. And, likewise, Aubrey and I clicked. Turns out she went to cosmetology school too, and is now a trusty assistant for me for larger wedding parties! She felt comfortable and in good hands during our trial. We actually scheduled a couple hair trials, considering she wasn’t quite sure which look she wanted to go for. That’s what trials are for, right? Trying different styles out, figuring out what style suits you, your personality, and goes with your dress and whole look. Aubrey didn’t want anything too put together or fancy, since she is a simple gal. Even her makeup wasn’t over the top glam. She stood out with her natural beauty that’s for sure! Her dress was the simple, yet stunning, Blush by Hayley Paige. And let's not forget to mention the beautiful florals by Eastern Floral.
Ali and I got the girls ready in a beautiful suite with a view at the JW Marriott. I just love these mornings! A bunch of gals, the bride and her closet girlfriends, sisters, mothers, aunts, etc. It’s such a fun morning. Note to future brides...mimosas are ALWAYS a good idea. And despite a couple hiccups that later the girls laughed about, (including a spastic steamer, yikes!) the morning flowed on schedule. Kelly Sweet captured the easy, breezy beauty from the day. Take a look below!

Gorgeous right? The simplicity is refreshing, focusing on the reason for celebration. And Aubrey’s son, Liam. I mean…could he be any cuter?! What a handsome guy! Congrats to Aubrey + Jake! Perhaps you future brides in need of an a hair assistant will get to meet Aubrey :)
